An agreement has been signed regarding the provision of a 30-ton water plant to Kaafu Guraidhoo by Kandooma Resort.
The agreement was signed by the General Manager of Kandooma Resort and the Engineering Manager of Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC).
At the signing ceremony held in Guraidhoo today, HR Manager of Kandooma Resort Hussain Shahid said that the installation of the water plant will be completed by the end of the year. He said that work was currently in progress to bury the pipes.
Shahid said that Kandooma Resort will spend MVR 1.5 million on this project.
“This water plant provided by Kandooma Resort will greatly benefit the people of Guraidhoo. By now, 65 percent of the installation process has been completed. This is a project worth MVR 1.5 million,” he said.
He further said that Guraidhoo has close relations with Kandooma, and that the water plant is one of the most expensive projects undertaken by Kandooma in the Guraidhoo. He said that great cooperation was being received from the Guraidhoo Council for this project.
At the ceremony, Guraidhoo Council President Hussain Yameen welcomed and praised Kandooma for its close ties with Guraidhoo.
